[Internal] Video: Transfer from JW Player to the Management Console
Introduction
Uploading a video to the Management Console
requires two steps. This guide covers the second one: step-by-step
instructions for transferring a video from JW Player to the Management Console. For step one, refer
to the Video: Upload to JW Player support guide. The assumption for this guide is that the first step has already been completed.
Transfer the File
1) Login to Management Console, select the client's organization from the Organizational Unit dropdown and click Continue.
2) In the Utilities section click Uploads.
3) Click Videos across the top menu.
5) Login to JW Player in a separate tab and click on the video you want to transfer. The video's page appears.
6) Locate the Media ID of the video (in the Video Summary section) and copy the Media ID.
7) Return to the previous tab, in Upload New Videos section, paste the Media ID in the Media ID textbox.
8) Click Create Video.
Verify the Transfer
9) To verify that the video was successfully transferred, select it from the Current Videos dropdown menu.
10) To verify that the video plays, click View and when the video viewer appears, click the play button.
11) If closed captions were added to the video, check to see that they are also working.
